Formed in August 2005, the Cooperative of Forest Producers Community (Cooperfloresta in portuguese) has as its main goal develop comum politics of structuring of forest management community of wood, at the licensing process, production, beneficiation and trading.

Based on the forest defence ideals and sustainable development, that were started and promoted by Chico Mendes and afterwards by the rubbers movement, Cooperflorest joins seven communities, totalizing 87 families. All of them have their certified area and the cooperative has certification of its custody chain.

Iiba Produtos Florestais Sustentáveis keeps a cooperation relationship with Cooperfloresta, tha includes purchase of woods that probably would not be traded; exchange of comercial information; and partnership articulation to attend specific demands of clients with beneficiated products.
